Tutoring business software
A calm plan for your whole tutoring week
tutor.red turns scheduling, attendance, invoicing, and family communication into a clear daily plan — so the next thing to do is always obvious.

See it move
Watch a Tuesday sort itself
— thirteen seconds, no sound, all true
Attendance ticked, a make-up credit banked and honoured on the invoice, and the reminder sent while you were still teaching. This is the whole pitch, animated.
01Run the day
A schedule that holds itself together
— your Tuesday, already sorted
Build a weekly series once and tutor.red keeps every occurrence, room, and attendance record straight — even when real life reschedules it.
- Recurring lessons
- Weekly rules, session counts, and per-lesson exceptions. Notes carry forward to the next occurrence automatically.
- Attendance in a tap
- Mark whole groups at once. A missed lesson banks a make-up credit that later invoices respect.
- Rooms, availability, blocked time
- Book physical rooms, protect tutor availability, and print the day when you need paper.

Invoicing that happens without you
— no more invoice weekends
Generate a month of family invoices in one batch, with your numbering, currency, and tax settings — then watch payments, not spreadsheets.
- Batch invoicing
- Auto-generate from lessons taught, adjust the exceptions, send. Sequential numbers and your invoice prefix included.
- Wallets & lesson packages
- Families pre-pay into a wallet you can charge against, or buy a pack of lessons that draws down automatically as lessons happen.
- Payroll, expenses & mileage
- Tutor pay runs, expense tracking, and mileage at the standard rate — the whole money picture in one place.

03Keep families close
A portal parents actually understand
— fewer “what time is piano?” texts
Parents and students get a mobile-first portal in plain language — schedules, homework, invoices, and messages, with none of your back-office terminology.
- Self-service, within your rules
- Families check lessons, submit homework, download resources, view invoices, and cancel within the policy you set.
- Email and chat, together
- Send and schedule email — attachments included — keep chat threads with families alongside, and reuse templates for the messages you send every week.
- Automations that feel personal
- Lesson reminders send themselves a day ahead, and event automations — welcomes, birthdays, invoices — run from templates written in your voice.

Why tutor.red
Software for people who teach — not people who administrate.
Every screen is built around the job in front of you: dense enough for a busy front desk (even when the front desk is you), plain enough for a parent on a phone, and honest about what’s done and what’s next.
Who it’s for
One tutor, or twelve
— same software, same calm
tutor.red doesn’t make you choose between a hobby tool and an enterprise suite. The same quiet system runs a kitchen-table tutoring practice and a fully staffed timetable — and grows with you from one to the other.
A team of one
you, doing everything
- A website, intake form, and lead pipeline — marketing, handled.
- Invoices and reminders that send themselves while you teach.
- A family portal that makes you look impressively organised — because now you are.
A full studio
tutors, rooms, payroll — the lot
- Tutor profiles, teams, roles, and privacy controls.
- Pay runs, per-tutor colour-coded calendars, room bookings.
- Reports across the whole roster, CSV-ready for your accountant.

Questions, answered
Fair questions
— asked by every careful tutor we know
- Is tutor.red for solo tutors or tutoring studios?
- Both, equally. A solo tutor gets a front office — website, scheduling, invoicing, and a family portal — without hiring one. A multi-tutor studio adds teams, roles, per-tutor calendars, payroll runs, and roster-wide reports. It’s the same system either way, so growing doesn’t mean migrating.
- How long does setup take?
- Minutes, not days. Create an account, add your first students, and you can be scheduling your first recurring lesson in the same sitting — no implementation project required.
- Do parents and students need to install an app?
- No. The family portal runs in any browser on any phone, and parents can sign in with a magic link sent by email — no password to invent or forget.
- How does billing work for my families?
- You send invoices generated from lessons actually taught — one at a time or a whole month in a batch. Families can also pre-pay into a wallet or buy lesson packages that draw down automatically, and every balance is visible in their portal.
- Which languages does it support?
- The interface is available in English, Lithuanian, and Thai — for your staff and for families in their portal.
- Can I take my data with me?
- Yes. Every report exports to CSV, and outbound webhooks can stream events to systems you run. Your data stays yours.
